Villa San-Juliette Wedding Venue

This past weekend, we were honored to shoot a stunning Villa San-Juliette wedding. Christiana and Greg celebrated their love on Saturday, April 16th, 2022 in the presence of family and friends, surrounded by the beauty of the Paso Robles wine region. Villa San-Juliette is a Tuscan-styled venue that makes you feel like you’ve just stepped off a plane in Italy. ????

How they met…

Christiana and Greg met in the summer of 2015 during lunch in the Federal Trade Commission’s cafeteria. Over the next few months, they quickly bonded over policy debates, sharing good food, and exploring Washington D.C.’s beautiful sights. Although they were initially just friends, Greg began to stop by Christiana’s office more often to raid the candy jar. That winter, D.C. experienced one of its biggest blizzards ever. Luckily, as a Pennsylvania native, Greg was able to show Christiana (a California girl) how to make the most of the weather. This included fun walks in the snow, fresh stew, and tons of hot cocoa. By the end of that storm, they had officially begun dating and never looked back!

Over the years…

After two adventurous years in D.C., Greg moved to Evanston for his Master’s Degree. Long distance was the relationship’s first real test, and being far away from one another was difficult. Despite this, they still found ways to continue growing their love. For instance, they planned occasional trips to visit one another and plenty of surprise deliveries of food and flowers.

In 2019, they both had another big move. Greg relocated to Madison, Wisconsin for his PhD, and Christiana returned to Duke for her MBA. Greg visited Christiana in Durham for his spring break in March 2020, not knowing at the time that this would become a long-term arrangement. Graham, their adorable dog (see the photo below!), joined them in October of that year and helped them grow even closer together.

The big question!

In April of 2021, after nearly six years of dating, Greg got down on one knee… and completely forgot to ask Christiana to marry him! Fortunately, she knew what he was trying to say (as she always does 😉 ) and happily accepted his proposal.

As of this past weekend, the two of them have started the next amazing chapter of their lives. We couldn’t possibly be any happier for them!

She’s a hopeful romantic and finds so much joy in the celebration of a wedding. She connected with Christiana and Greg during their very first phone call and was thrilled that it was such a great fit!
